    【Profile】

A management and technology professional with over 40 years of international experience in the paper, chemical, and industrial sectors. Has held leadership roles across Japan, the US, and Europe overseeing R&D, business turnarounds, M&A, PMI, and international operations. Has led the growth and restructuring of multiple companies as President and Representative Director. Currently, while supporting new customer development and the resolution of business challenges, founded PFAS Busters LLC to introduce Aquarden Technologies’ Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) technology from Denmark to Japan, with the aim of addressing PFAS-related issues.

    【Abstract】

Aquarden Technologies has developed supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) technology and introduced the SuperOx system. The system was applied to destroy hard-to-decompose environmental toxins such as PFAS, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, etc. Aquarden tested the system with PFAS containing aqueous film forming foam (AFFF), landfill leachate, reverse osmosis (RO) and nano-filter (NF) concentrated leachate, ethanol wash-water of granular activated carbon (GAC), secondary foamate from foam separation, used GAC and ion exchange resins, etc. in many countries. It was found that the system can demineralize PFAS in various materials to under detection limits. The SuperOx system has been deployed in more than five countries in Europe.
