Prof. Yutaka Matsuo received his B.S. from the School of Engineering Science at Osaka University. He subsequently served as Research Associate and later Project Professor at the Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo, and as Professor at the University of Science and Technology of China. Since 2019, he has been Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, and Director of the Institute of Materials Innovation at Nagoya University. His research interests include nanocarbon chemistry, organic materials chemistry, organic and perovskite solar cells, and electrolyte membranes and electrocatalysts for fuel cells. He holds a Ph.D. in Science.
