Airlica™ is a Hydrophobic spherical silica aerogel powder with uniform particle size.
Since it inhibits heat transfer by air
molecules, it has low thermal conductivity and excellent heat insulation. With a pore size of approximately 40 nm, which is smaller than the mean free path of air molecules, it exhibits thermal conductivity lower than that of still air. Therefore, when incorporated into coatings or molded products, it provides superior insulation performance. In addition, as a matting agent, it delivers a transparent matte finish with only a small amount of additive.
