Our functional acrylic monomers, centered on amphiphilic acrylamide derivatives, contribute high value across a wide range of fields, including coatings, adhesives, and other applications.
We are also developing and supplying various innovative products, such as UV-curable urethane acrylamides, known for their strong adhesion to various substrates and the toughness of their cured films; high-solubility amide-ether solvents, expected to serve as alternatives to NMP; as well as high-Tg acrylic monomers, biomass monomers and high-molecular photoinitiators.

Our acrylamide-based functional monomers enhance performance across multiple areas, including improved UV curability, adhesion, heat resistance, toughness, and hydrolysis resistance. They also impart hydrophilicity, improve compatibility, and support the shift toward water-based resin formulations. As a result, we have established a solid presence in various fields, including coatings, adhesives, inkjet inks, 3D resins, anti-fog coatings, and cosmetics. We also offer cationic monomers with antistatic and antimicrobial properties, as well as acrylate-based monomers and biomass monomers with excellent adhesion to substrates such as olefins.

2UV-Curable Urethane Acrylamides - Kohshylex® :Quick Cure®

With acrylamide groups incorporated, our unique functional urethane acrylamides (urethane oligomers) offer excellent UV curability with low cure shrinkage and can be cured using UV-LED with a small amount of photoinitiator. We offer a range of grades, including a soft-type grade (Quick Cure® 7100) and its low-viscosity grade (Quick Cure® 7300), featuring excellent adhesion to various substrates such as PET, PMMA, and polyimide, as well as a medium-hard grade (Quick Cure® 8100) that maintains high elongation even in high-hardness formulations.

Our solvents have been used as substitutes for conventional solvents such as NMP, DMF, and DMAc, thanks to their superior ability to dissolve materials across a wide range of polarities and their enhanced biocompatibility. They are utilized as synthetic solvents and film-forming aids for hard-to-dissolve resins such as polyimide, polyamide-imide, and polyurethane, and are also employed in detergents, strippers, and agrochemical applications. Additionally, their low contact angle and excellent wettability on various substrates make them ideal for use as solvents in ink formulations.
