Electrical corrosion and impedance measurement with MFT-5000 E module, and micro & nano indentation tester
Rtec-Instruments Country Manager
Tokyo University of Science, PhD course
In evaluating friction and wear characteristics and surface characteristics, one of the most important requirements is to conduct tests that simulate real world. By the now, Rtec Instrument has sold multi-functional tribometers MFT that can control loads over a wide range, simulate various sliding speeds and motions, and simulate environmental conditions. We introduce the new development EV tester like as the E (electrification) module, which supports electrolytic corrosion and impedance measurements, and the 3D profiler and indentation tester, which are compatible from micro to nanoscale evaluations, as the test portfolio for EV development.

Graduated engineer of technical physics, previously technical manager at Optimol Instruments, now general manager at Optimol Instruments
Energy efficiency and sustainability are the mainstream buzzwords in today’s economy and industry. Technical coatings are definitely one possible solution to improve on either of them.
In our talk, we will present a test methodology of how to quantify the energy saving (efficiency) and the wear reduction potential of technical coatings by functional tribology testing on a lab scale.
-Tribological failure mechanisms of coatings
-Strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of technical coating
-Quantification methods of functional performance data of coatings using friction and wear measurement

He has been involved in the planning of wastewater treatment equipment in the electrical and electronic parts, automobile parts, steel, chemical, and metal surface treatment industries for many years, and after joining Kaiko, he has worked to propose and popularize small unit wastewater treatment equipment. He is developing new container-type wastewater treatment equipment for relatively small-scale treatment processes, in order to achieve shorter delivery times and cheaper equipment delivery. In the future, we would like to expand our products globally by developing products with an eye toward overseas expansion
Conventional wastewater treatment equipment typically involves installing tanks, pumps, dehydrators, instrumentation equipment, etc. on-site, and then performing piping and wiring work, which results in long construction periods and high costs. Container-in small wastewater treatment equipment is installed in a 12ft container and delivered in a completed state, so on-site construction can be completed in one day. The installation area is minimal, buildings and civil engineering foundations are not required, and the cost of ancillary equipment is low. In the case of installation inside a building, we provide a conventional all-in compact wastewater treatment system. We have a track record of handling 100 units of pre-painting treatment wastewater, barrel wastewater, automobile parts cleaning wastewater, etc., and have established an equipment maintenance and management system through regular maintenance.

Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1989.
After graduating from Okayama University of Science graduate school, joined Shimizu Co., Ltd. in 2014.
Since joining the company, he has been involved in the development of the non-cyanide alloy plating series.
The non-cyanide alloy plating series that he was involved in the development of is becoming increasingly popular in the clothing and decoration industries due to its impact on the human body and the environment.
It is nickel-free and also cobalt-free, which is an increasing demand in Scandinavian countries, and has been well received.
Regarding cyanide compounds used in plating baths, due to concerns about the negative impact on the environment due to inadequate wastewater treatment, it is necessary to use special wastewater treatment equipment at work sites and comply with laws and regulations such as regulations on specific hazardous substances.
Since its establishment, Shimizu Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the research and development of metal surface treatment chemicals, mainly environmentally friendly plating, and electrodeposition coating processes.
We will introduce surface treatment technologies that comply with laws and regulations such as unnecessary technologies and regulations on specific hazardous substances.
