NGF machine does not require vacuum holes in the mold, "TOM" is a 3D surface decoration forming derived from this technology&possible in the same machine.
In TOM forming, "mold" is replaced with "base material", film with high design like color, pattern, weather resistance, chemical resistance etc.
Depending on size&specifications of the machine, forming is possible for mass production/Research.

A supersized NGF / TOM forming machine with max forming size of 1550 x 2350 x 200 mm (jig height include) which can decorate large parts such as automobile roof, door and fender.
Neo-TOM can decorate 3D film without crushing the rib-shaped hollow part that is often found in automobile parts.

A laser machine for film cut after TOM, optimized for trimming skin material for insert molding as well. The combination of a laser marker and a 6-axis robot enables trimming of any shape. Vacuum suction eliminates the risk of misalignment during cut, a smoke collector to remove smoke.
The rotary type allows the product to be taken out and set during laser trimming, which can shorten the work time.

The thermoplastic film is heated & softened, vacuum is created between mold & film, film is brought into close contact with the mold at atm pressure which is termed as vacuum forming, use of compressed air is called pressure forming, pressure forming as of high pressure withhold mold shape better.
Both have low mold cost & are suitable for small-quantity production, it's easy to handle large parts.

TOM requires a special jig so that base material can withstand the pressure during forming.
A handmade jig using an actual base material at a low cost, or to make a highly accurate aluminum jig from 3D data using a machining center. For customers who have purchased the machine, we can provide training course for jig design and advice for new jig making so that customers can make jigs themselves.

TOM with a transparent film it is possible to waterproof printed circuit, LED boards which replace resin potting and dipping.
