Leader in NanoSilicon production for Li-ion battery and semicon applications
Nanomakers is an industrial leader in designing, producing and selling silicon-based nano-powders for the Semicon and battery industries. Our nano silicon grades are used in various applications to drastically improve the mechanical, thermal and chemical performances of materials (elastomers, metals, sintered ceramics and Li-ion battery anode materials). The production is based on a patented process. The company is located in France exporting more than 90% of its production. We have two main product families: (1) carbon-coated nano Silicon used as Li-ion battery anode active material and (2) nano Silicon Carbide used for example as performance filler in FFKM O-rings for the semicon industry.

NMSiwC99 - Carbon coated nano Silicon
NMSiwC99 is an active material for Li-ion battery anodes with exceptional energy density compared to standard graphite. It is made of a crystal phase Silicon core covered by an amorphous shell with carbon ensuring the best electrical conductivity between particles and to stabilize & improve interactions with the other constituents of the anode.
It is available in three sizes: 40, 75 and 100nm. It is a high purity grade with narrow particle size distribution and can be customized according to customers’needs.
It can be incorporated up to 5wt% directly in the anode formulation, or up to 20wt% through a graphite composite.

NMSiC99 - nano Silicon Carbide
NMSiC99 is a Silicon Carbide (SiC) nanopowder available with two particle size : 35 and 75nm. It is available in very high purity up to 6N and shows narrow particle size distribution. It can be customized according to customers' requirements.
NMSiC99 is used in various applications to disruptively reinforce mechanical and chemical properties of a wide variety of materials (elastomers, polymers, ceramics, metals). It is for example used in FFKM O-rings formulations for the SemiCon industry.
Various derived grades are also available : silicon coated (NMSiCwSi99), carbon coated (NMSiCwC99) or Nitrogen doped (NMSiCdN99).
