【講演者プロフィール】

Dr. Ajay Virkar is the CTO and a Board Member at C3 Nano. Ajay has more than one hundred patents (issued or pending) and has co-authored eleven technical publications in peer-reviewed journals. He completed his BS in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering (with honors) at the University of Illinois (UIUC) and his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University.


【講演概要】

C3 Nano’s platform Nanowire-based technology is being utilized to empower a wide variety of electronics ranging from smartphones & switchable windows to biomedical devices & transparent heaters. C3 Nano will also describe this platform and also several recent technology breakthroughs including it’s new ActiveGrid™ LT inks which can be cured at room temperature incredibly quickly (~25 C, ~ 1 min) to impart outstanding conductivity ( 1E-5 ohm/cm) on a variety of low Tg, soft, bio-compatible, and low-cost substrates. We will also describe how our NWs are ideal materials for conductive fillers - achieving low restistivities at extremely low loadings unlocking broad new applications & potentials in conductive composites, adhesives & 3D-printing. The ability to add electrical conductivity by depositing ActiveGrid ink as ultrathin layers on substrates, or NWs into composites, can liberate the imagination to enable new transformative displays, devices, & HMI experiences.
