【Abstract】

UV-C LEDs are prone to degradation therefore in-line monitoring is mandatory. sglux offers silicon-carbide (SiC) based UV irradiance sensors which are intrinsic visible-blind and stable against UV radiation. Thus, the UV sensor is able to measure the irradiance of the UV-C LED and its degradation. As the sensitivity of the SiC UV sensors depends on the wavelength each sensor is traceable-calibrated at the emission spectrum of the costumers LED type giving the costumer a reliable measurement of the irradiance. Applying the aforementioned approaches sglux helps the user to gather important information about the performance of the UV-C LED based purification system.
