The Tokyo Gas Group has declared in its management vision "Compass 2030" that it will "lead the transition to CO2 net zero" and "lead a responsible transition with both gas and renewable energy". It is necessary to make a steady transition by implementing feasible measures to the maximum extent, and to continue the process of developing, verifying, and deploying the technologies that are necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of CO2 net zero. Today, I would like to explain our efforts to achieve CO2 net zero by Tokyo Gas Group, which are divided into two major areas: demand side and supply side.

【Abstract】
Air-conditioning and refrigeration are an industry that has a lot to do with climate change. As climate change progresses, measures against heatstroke and sleep disorders will become necessary. At the same time, it is necessary to maintain productivity in commerce and offices, therefor these industries will become an increasingly important social infrastructure. We will discuss how to challenge decarbonization and maintain sustainable management for expanding cooling demand. Daikin formulated the Environmental Vision 2050 in 2018 and announced the strategic management plan FUSION25 in 2021, so I will introduce them.
