Joined Suntory Limited in 1984. Engaged in facility design engineer work such as brewery construction. After serving as the head of a beverage manufacturing company in Shanghai from 2010, since 2016 he has been responsible for the development and procurement of packaging materials as the general manager of the packaging materials division of Suntory Holdings Limited. Established R Plus Japan in 2020 as part of the packaging material development business, and continues to this day.


【Abstract】

Introducing the overview of the activities of R Plus Japan Co., Ltd., which was established with the aim of efficiently collecting, sorting, and reproducing for used plastics, which is a social issue. RPJ is a consortium led by all plastic-related value chain companies. We will also introduce highly efficient chemical recycling technology by Anerotech inc, which is the cornerstone of reproducing.

【Abstract】

The problems caused by plastic waste are becoming more and more apparent-driving stronger calls than ever for society to shift to a recycling-based economy. Yet to make practical use of recycled raw materials, those involved need to be able to ensure traceability, such as by being able to specify the materials in use.
With the cooperation of IBM Japan, we Mitsui Chemicals built the resource circulation platform for plastic material traceability. At the venue, we will introduce the status of market development.
