【Profile】
After working for a textile company in South Korea for five years, he studied abroad at Shinshu University, where he majored in KANSEI Engineering and obtained a doctorate. Since 2012, he has been working at TOYOBO CO., LTD. Corporate Research Center (Comfort Engineering Center). He is engaged in comfort evaluation, construction of tactile evaluation methods and development of products specialized in tactile sensation, and the development of conductive material "COCOMI®" for wearable sensing.
【Abstract】
"COCOMI®", a conductive film material developed by TOYOBO CO., LTD. is highly conductive, thin, flexible, and easy to process into any shape. Utilizing garment design technology cultivated over many years, COCOMI® can acquire biometric signals with high accuracy even with small garment pressure and has excellent washing durability. By processing it into a capacitive strain sensor, it can also be used as a respiration sensor. In this seminar, we will introduce the characteristics of "COCOMI®" and its applications.
