KURARISTER™ CW
KURARISTER™ is a transparent high-barrier film developed from Kuraray’s proprietary technology.
With its excellent barrier properties, transparency and heat resistance, it is used in pharmaceutical packaging, and is expected to be developed for industrial use as well.
KURARISTER™ CW was developed to protect moisture-sensitive material for industrial products. KURARISTER™ CW show high moisture barrier and is used/evaluated by many projects mainly in industrial and technical fields such as front sheet for PV battery and barrier sheet for optical use.
EVAL™ monolayer film
Kuraray is world’s only supplier of monolayer high barrier film for lamination, composed of 100% EVAL™ EVOH. Several grades of EVAL™ film take EVOH high barrier properties to industrial, pharmaceutical and other applications not possible with coextrusion. EVAL™ film provides ultra-high barrier performance from biaxially oriented and even metalized EVOH.
IPEMA
Due to its unique feature of having two C=C double bonds with different reactivity, when used as a reactive diluent, it can be expected to improve abrasion resistance, suppress curling due to curing shrinkage, improve elongation, and suppress oxygen inhibition in UV curing. When used as a raw material for acrylic polymers, this monomer can be used to introduce reactive groups into polymers and to impart flame retardancy by phosphorus denaturation of the introduced reactive groups.
DPNG
DPNG, a liquid oxygen absorber with the unique property of absorbing oxygen as an organic substance alone, contributes to solving various problems caused by oxygen, such as degradation of physical properties due to oxygen inhibition during UV curing, degradation and yellowing of resins due to oxidation, degradation of electrical conductivity due to oxidation of metals, and fading of pigments due to oxidation.

【Abstract】
We will introduce examples of the use of the monomer IPEMA, which has many functions such as improving the curl and scratch resistance of acrylic coatings for automotive interiors and exteriors, improving the flame retardancy of acrylics and facilitating the introduction of reactive groups, and the antioxidant DPNG, which is in liquid form and can be easily mixed with various materials, along with the effect of inhibiting oxygen in UV-curing.
