【Abstract】
3D printers are used in various manufacturing industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical.
With the development of technology in recent years, 3D printers, which were previously limited to prototypes and jigs, are now being used overseas for mass production. In response to this trend, the use of 3D printers in mass production is becoming increasingly important in Japan.
In this session, entitled as "Global Trends in Utilization of 3D printers and Challenges in Japan", we will introduce the market overview of 3D printers and case studies of Japan and overseas.
We will also address the issues that Japanese companies should understand and measures to take for the mass production and utilization of 3D printers.
