Capital Power (TSX: CPX) is a North American power producer and supplier of carbon nanotubes. In support of our goal to be net carbon neutral before 2050, we’re reducing our emissions through flue gas capture and conversion to create cost-competitive, high quality and customized carbon nanotubes. Our novel electrolysis technology will be implemented at commercial scale in 2021 in Canada.

Mulit-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT)
Capital Power is working with C2CNT to build a commercial scale facility that will capture flue gas and transform CO2 emissions into CNTs. C2CNT has developed a proprietary new technology for CO2 removal and transformation into CNTs using high yield molten carbonate electrolytic transformation.
