Akio Yoneyama received the Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2007. His research topic was Video Compression, Video Analysis and Augmented Reality. He joined R&D Strategy division of
KDDI HQ (2013-2017). Since 2017, he moved to Education and Medical ICT Research group in
KDDI research Inc. His current research topic field is EdTech, HealthTech, and HRTech(Human Resource Management Tech). His current interest includes "Positive Psychology", "Company Productivity", "People Management" and "Health Behavior Change".
【Abstract】
Understanding humans is also an eternal challenge for humans. However, in addition to recent sensor evolution and faster computing capabilities, the communication network's high-speed,large-capacity and low-latency, as well as "understanding humans" may be a little, but gradually elucidated. Things that could be done are increasing. In this lecture, we will give an overview of the latest trends related to human understanding, focus on human behavior, and look at the possibility of efforts that lead to behavioral change.

Our company is a venture established based on printed electronics technology developed in Yamagata University Tokito Lab. We have commercialized the bed sensor "Vital Beats" that can measure the depth of sleep, in addition to heartbeat and breathing. We are also focusing on initiatives for commercialization and social implementation.
