【Abstract】

Very flexible plastic films by epoxy polymers were developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, having excellent printability of various conductive/dielectric inks and thermal durability enough to cure those inks after printing process without any surface treatments, excellent optical transparency without retardations, and very high durability against repeated folding, without losing benefits of epoxy polymers. In addition, novel stretchable epoxy films with very high stretchability and good thermal stability were also developed.

【Abstract】

YUPO is a synthetic paper with the benefits of both paper and film. YUPO is made of polypropylene and produced by bi-axially oriented film forming process. What makes YUPO quite unique in terms of its structure is that it has innumerous micro-voids, in other words microscopic pores, giving opacity and whiteness like paper. YUPO is known as durable printing media especially in printing industry.
In this session, we will introduce to you not only YUPO’s general properties but also our trial product, Piezoelectric YUPO, and example of its commercialization.
