【Abstract】

"Japan Jisso Technology Roadmap 2022" was published in July 2022 by JEITA*. The roadmap provides an overview of "Focused Markets and Electronics" and includes four categories: (1) Human Science, (2) Information and Communication Technology (ICT), (3) Mobility, and (4) New Technologies, New Materials, and New Markets for the Jisso Technologies.
Under the Human Science category, trends in healthcare devices, medical care, and human augmentation are reported. In the ICT category, in addition to reporting on the development status of 5G and 6G, cutting-edge data center servers, communication infrastructure such as smartphones, and AR/VR/MR devices that will form new markets, such as Metaverse, are also covered.
Under the Mobility category, a survey of development trends in autonomous driving, remote vehicle operation, electrification technology, and EMC/noise countermeasures is conducted.
Lastly, in the New Technologies, New Materials, and New Markets category, we focus on the fields of energy, next-generation display devices, robots, quantum technology, and bonding materials, and report on their developments.
