【Abstract】

Sclerothix® is a COSMOS certified, 100% naturally derived thickener that can be used as a thickening and gelling agent in aqueous formulations and as an emulsion stabilizer. It contributes to energy savings as it does not require neutralization and can be used in cold processes. It is also stable in the presence of salt and can be used in combination with detergent surfactants.
The appearance of gels conditioned with Sclerothix® feels thick and rich. On the other hand, the texture is smooth, transparent, and silky when applied to the skin. Emulsions and gels also have a satiny, slightly matte appearance and feel smooth and non-greasy.
These characteristics make them applicable to a wide range of applications, including gel products, cleaning products, emulsions, scrubs, and masks.
