【Abstract】

Exosomes, which have been the focus of much attention in recent years, are microscopic endoplasmic reticulum contained in all animal and plant cells and are used by cells to transmit information to other cells. Recently, attention to plant exosomes in particular has increased dramatically as an ingredient in health foods, cosmetics, and other products.
Dragon leaf cell solution containing exosomes derived from dragon fruit leaf stems, launched in 2023, has already been used as an ingredient in dozens of cosmetics, and its high moisturizing and skin beautifying effects are well known in the industry.
At the Japanese Society of Pharmaceutical Chemistry meeting held in March this year, it was demonstrated that dragonleaf exosomes act on type 17 collagen and immune response antibodies, and evidence for the effects of dragonleaf cell solution in the hair care and skin care fields has been established.
