【Abstract】
"Misato Sekka" is a lavender with white flower, was borned in Misato, Akita. Misato is known for being a lavender-producing area, and the annual Lavender Festival attracts many visitors. But there were few ways to use the Misato Sekka mowed after the Lavender Festival. So, we conducted a scientific analysis to effectively utilize Misato Sekka as a cosmetic ingredient. As a result, we found that Misato Sekka extract has a lot of polyphenols and high antioxidant power. In addition, this extract increased the expression of DKK1 of cells. DKK1 is a Brightening-Promoting Factor that regulates melanin synthesis by inhibiting the Wnt signal, one of the pathways of melanin synthesis. We discovered that Misato Sekka extract (White Lavender TN-W) increases the expression of DKK1, enhancing natural brightening power in the skin. We are promoting the industrialization of Misato Sekka and revitalizing the local area in collaboration with the town and the Misato Sekka Production Association.

【Abstract】
LAFRIN-AM·arpha-LP is a product made from lactobacillus fermented rice, which is obtained by fermenting polished rice with plant-derived lactobacillus. Sugars and amino acids are added for easier formulation. This product is 100% naturally derived, encompassing both raw materials and manufacturing processes, ensuring confident use. Furthermore, it has active properties such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, making it a unique multifunctional natural cosmetic ingredient with original emulsifying mechanisms. In vivo testing has empirically confirmed that emulsions prepared with LAFRIN-AM·arpha-LP enhance the effects of water-soluble compounds. Based on this, we conducted a transdermal absorption test. Test results confirmed enhanced transdermal absorption of water-soluble active ingredients in quasi-drugs, such as ascorbic acid derivatives and nicotinamide. Here, we introduce the elucidated mechanism of the transdermal absorption-enhancing effect.
