CALMATT®(RSPO)・MAGGLOW®(RSPO)
CALMATT®(RSPO) is a white functional powder with a glass core, specially treated with Calcium Myristate. It has a soft, smooth texture and excellent moldability as a talc alternative. MAGGLOW®(RSPO) is also a white functional powder with a glass core, specially treated with Magnesium Myristate, offering a soft and smooth feel. Both have a natural origin index of 1.0.

SUNSPHERE® SLT series
SUNSPHERE® SLT series is a spherical silica powder that feels moist, unlike typical silica. It substitutes microplastic beads, with low bulk density and excellent moldability, providing spreadability, transparency, and soft-focus effect. It has higher shear adhesion and similar oil absorption as the existing SUNSPHERE® series (NP-30, NP-100).

Urchin-shaped titanium oxide ST-700 series
Sea urchin-shaped titanium oxide's particle projections provide a friction-reducing, smooth texture. This structure enables non-nano UV protection via UV reflection/absorption. ST-705/710 offer red light transmission for natural foundation coverage. ST-750 blocks near-infrared rays, suppressing skin temperature. It also boosts SPF when combined with fine particle zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.

The Rheopearl series consists of polysaccharide fatty acid esters developed with Chiba Flour Milling Co., Ltd.'s unique technology. By micronizing wax crystals, it improves the feel and adhesion of lip and balm formulations.

We will showcase CARBOPOL® grades for cleansers. CARBOPOL® AQUA SF-1 POLYMER reduces skin dryness-related itchiness and enhances pearlescence. CARBOPOL® FUSION S-20 POLYMER is biodegradable, a substitute for AQUA SF-1 POLYMER. CARBOPOL® SC-800 POLYMER stabilizes high-oil formulations, especially with glucoside/glutamate surfactants.

Mild Cleansing Agents: KAO AKYPO® series
Kao Akipo® series anionic surfactants balance mildness and cleansing, protecting skin moisture/NMF. Their spontaneous cleansing action allows no-rub washing. RLM-26NV/RLM-45NV cleanse better than sodium cocoyl glutamate, while RLM-45/RLM-100 inhibit hair color fading. New RLM-26NV boosts foam with SLES or sodium cocoyl glutamate.

Efficacy of the Unique Morphology Titanium Dioxide "ST-700 Series" in Make-up and Sunscreen Formulations

【Abstract】
Both organic and inorganic UV filters are commonly used for UV protection. The issues with organic UV filters are that they may cause irritation in people with sensitive skin and there has been an increase in the number of countries and regions that regulate the use of organic UV filters for environmental reasons in recent years. However, using only inorganic UV filters in high doses for strong UV protection can affect the texture and appearance of the product. In this study, we propose the "ST-700 Series" which consists of coral shaped non-nano TiO2 and addresses the aforementioned issues.
ST-705 and 710 Series: Provide a foundation with a smooth feel, UV shielding effect, and a natural finish with moderate coverage, thanks to their high transmittance of red color rays.
ST-750 Series: Provide a sunscreen with a smooth feel, high transparency, SPF/UVAPF boosting effect, and a shield from Near Infrared rays, which helps reduce the temperature of the skin surface under the sun.

【Abstract】
In recent years -particularly in Europe and the US, the concept of "clean beauty" which emphasizes environmental and social considerations has been gaining traction. In the cosmetics industry, there is an increasing demand for transparency and sustainability in raw materials. In this presentation, we will introduce the physical property and potential applications of our new raw materials, CALMATT (RSPO) and MAGGLOW (RSPO). These ingredients have obtained RSPO certification, feature a high Natural Origin Index, and utilize specialized processing technology to achieve excellent moldability and a superior sensory.
CALMATT (RSPO): A white, plate-like powder with a smooth and soft texture, composed of fine glass flake as the core material treated with Calcium Myristate.
MAGGLOW (RSPO): A white, plate-like powder with an elegant glow, composed of fine glass flake as the core material treated with Magnesium Myristate.
Efficacy of the Oil Gelling Agents "Rheopearl" in Cleansing balm Formulations

【Abstract】
It has been challenging to achieve optimal performance using plant-derived waxes for cleansing balms in terms of hardness, liquid oil retention, long-term stability, and melting properties. In addition, in recent years, more cleansing balms have been packaged in tube containers rather than traditional jar containers due to considerations of hygiene, convenience, and portability. However, squeezing tube containers can cause the card-house structure of the balm to collapse, leading to stability issues during use.
"Rheopearl", a polysaccharide fatty acid ester in which long-chain fatty acids and saccharides are esterified, is widely used as an oil gelling agent and also exhibits various effects in wax gels. In this study, we propose the new cleansing balm formulated for use in tube containers which resolves the aforementioned issues by adding a specific combination of "Rheopearl" and plant-derived waxes.

【Abstract】
A common challenge in rinse-off formulations is adjusting their rheology, which can be difficult depending on the types of surfactants used. "CARBOPOL", a water-soluble Vinyl Polymer, is widely used in various applications due to its multifunctionality as a thickener, emulsifier, and suspending agent. This presentation will introduce three types of "CARBOPOL" for rinse-off products that offer rheology adjustment and unique functions, along with their characteristics and formulations.
CARBOPOL SC-800 POLYMER: A powder rheology modifier that thickens amino acid-based and soap-based surfactants without altering the foam quality, while allowing for high dosage of liquid oil in the formulation.
CARBOPOL AQUA SF-1 POLYMER: A liquid rheology modifier that improves viscosity stability and alleviates itchy skin in winter.
CARBOPOL FUSION S-20: A liquid rheology modifier that possesses inherent biodegradability and can be used in a wide range of pH.
