Lissenare™

Lissenare™ is a functional saccharide and mainly composed of isomaltooligosaccharide. It enables hair styling products to hold hair firmly while providing better flexibility and improves the strength and suppleness of damaged hair. It has bio-degradable, and natural index ISO16128 (1.0) standards.

AA2G™ is stabilized Vitamin C and is synthesized using Vitamin C and starch through an enzymatic method. AA2G™ is extremely stable; it can brighten skin, promote collagen synthesis, serve as an antioxidant, and provide other skin-care benefits. Natural AA2G™ is COSMOS-approved.

Ergothioneine

Ergothioneine (EGT) is a rare amino acid produced in very small amounts by mushrooms and some microorganisms. As research has progressed in recent years, its function in the body and its importance have been reaffirmed, and it is expected to be applied in cosmetics and food products. NAGASE has developed a natural, high-purity EGT of more than 99.5% by a fermentation process.

Cetiol® SoftFeel

Cetiol® SoftFeel is plant-derived Vaseline substitute that moisturizes the skin as an emollient. It is soft and smooth to the touch as it is absorbed by body heat, and produces a skin feel similar to Vaseline within about 3 minutes of use and high occlusive properties after 4 hours. It can be applied in various dosage forms such as creams, balms, and sticks. It's easily rinsed off with hot water.

Glucosyl Naringin

Glucosyl Naringin (GN), a type of citrus-derived flavonoid comprising glucose and naringin, is produced using upcycled citruses. Owing to its high water solubility, GN exhibits numerous applications and can promote the formation of elastin fibers to preserve skin elasticity and firmness.

Cetiol® Ultimate

Cetiol® Ultimate is a volatile emollient made from 100% renewable plant-derived raw materials. It has high spreadability, and as a skin care product, it not only gives the skin a light, comfortable feel, but also has conditioning properties that make hair more supple. It also has higher cleansing power than silicones, so it is effective in cleansing lipstick, oily mascara and dead skin cells.

MG-60/Tornare®

MG-60, a functional oligosaccharide comprising primarily glycosyl trehalose, exhibits excellent thermal and chemical stability and has a unique "moist but non-sticky" texture. MG-60 is used to fabricate long-lasting and rich-texture foams. Furthermore, it diminishes skin roughness and enhances the luster and combability of damaged hair.

Neurobiox® is a product that improves the thickness of the epidermis using an extract from the yarrow. It optimizes epidermal differentiation and proliferation by improving the balance of neuropeptides and receptors, enhancing intercellular communication. This not only leads to a thicker, younger-looking epidermis, but also promotes skin turnover and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and pores.

Alpha Glucosyl Hesperidin (AGH), a type of citrus-derived flavonoid comprising glucose and hesperidin, is produced using upcycled citruses. Highly water-soluble AGH exhibits numerous skin and hair benefits. Specifically, it promotes blood flow, reduces dark circles and dullness, diminishes pore appearance, and prevents hair loss.

PULLULAN(COSMETIC GRADE)

PULLULAN(COSMETIC GRADE) is a sustainable "non-petroleum" polymeric material fabricated via fermentation. Pullulan is water-soluble and exhibits several unique properties, such as adhesiveness, film-forming ability, and lubricity. Accordingly, pullulan can be used in long-lasting wearable makeup products, for skin-lifting, and to add a unique texture to cosmetics.

TREHALOSE 100 is a natural starch-derived disaccharide. Trehalose possesses remarkable moisture-retention properties and maintains skin moisture even in dry environments. Moreover, trehalose strengthens the barrier function of skin and promotes skin health by preventing drying.

An emollients using the enzymatic synthesis method, a green chemistry.
New TEGOSOFT LO MB (Lauryl Oleate) with a skin feel very close to mineral oil.

Hydrasensyl® Glucan Green

Hydrasensyl® Glucan Green is composed of natural Beta-glucan, which has better moisturizing properties than hyaluronic acid. It is effective in repairing skin damage caused by ultraviolet rays, and have anti-inflammatory and inhibits blemishes effects. It can be applied in a variety of ways, from leave-on to rinse-off, while also enhancing skin defense against exogenous substances.

She completed the Master’s program at the Graduate School of Biostudies, Kyoto University, Japan, in 2020. In the same year, she started her career as a researcher of cosmetic materials specializing in trichology, investigating hair evaluation methods and materials for hair care at Hayashibara Co., Ltd. Currently, she is involved in business development in the European and American markets as a member of the Global Business Communication Section of the Personal Care Department.


【Abstract】

When you wash your hair, do you ever think about where the water goes?
Hair-care products’ ingredients present in wastewater significantly impact the environment.
Using the technology cultivated over years of experience, we have launched various saccharide-based products.
Lissenare® is a naturally-derived ingredient developed by Hayashibara's proprietary enzyme technology. The presence of exquisite balance of saccharide components imparts unique functions to hair-care products. In addition to repairing hair damaged by coloring and perming, it gives an excellent feel and can achieve both hair "holding" and "flexibility," two features that were previously considered incompatible in hair-styling products.
Lissenare® is biodegradable and can help reduce the use of synthetic polymers, making it environmentally friendly as well as functional. We believe its potential application scope will expand in the future.
We use hair-care products daily, so why not use environmentally friendly products?
